New West Ham United legend Knollsy has arrived in Prague ahead of the club's Europa Conference League final with Fiorentina.
It was the semi-final second leg away to AZ Alkmaar when Knollsy earned his legend, as the home fans attacked visiting supporters in the family and friends area.
The fan was singled out for praise for helping keep the Alkmaar ultras at bay as players worried for the people they loved in the stands.
Even the players were calling the 58-year-old a 'legend' in the aftermath with the fan explaining how he could see how the situation was about to unfold which is why he sprung into action.
Following the incident the Premier League club rewarded their fan, real name Chris Knoll, with a complimentary ticket to Wednesday's final and he's arrived in fine voice, as you can see in the video below.
It's the club's first chance to claim European silverware since the likes of Bobby Moore and Geoff Hurst helped them win the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1965.
Understandably their supporters are planning on enjoying themselves, rather than getting in scraps in the stadium to defend others fans.
On the way out to the Czech Republic one fan was having fun in Stansted airport, making a brilliant announcement over the PA system.
Others were travelling by train and gave the whole carriage a wonderful rendition of the Luas Pacqueta song, to the tune of the We Buy Any Car advert.
Another fan ran into legendary midfielder Mark Noble, who is now the club's sporting director, whilst he was out and about in Prague.
Whilst the supporter was enjoying a beer around the city Noble was keeping up his fitness by going for a run around the Czech capital.
It's been a long old season for the Hammers as they have been fighting against relegation for most of the campaign, as David Moyes hasn't been able to get them going in the Premier League.
However they have continued their excellent form in Europe, having reached the semi-finals of the Europa League just a year ago.
Beating Fiorentina would secure their first major silverware since winning the FA Cup in 1980.
