Premier League 2023/24 fixtures in full as Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal learn schedules
Less than a month after last season finished, the Premier League have announced the full fixture list for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign, with the new term set to get underway on Friday, August 11
A mouthwatering clash between Chelsea and Liverpool headlines the opening weekend of the 2023/24 Premier League season, with the full fixture list now confirmed.
Both clubs – particularly Chelsea under new boss Mauricio Pochettino – are hoping to forget disappointing campaigns last time out as they meet on Sunday, August 13. That’s the penultimate match of the opening weekend, with Manchester United hosting Wolves on the first Monday Night Football of the season.
The campaign gets underway on Friday, August 11 at Turf Moor, where newly-promoted Burnley will host champions Manchester City in a fixture which will see managers Vincent Kompany and Pep Guardiola reunite. On the Saturday, Arsenal host Nottingham Forest in the early kick-off, as Mikel Arteta’s side bid to mount another title charge.
Later that day, Sheffield United welcome Crystal Palace as Premier League football returns to Bramall Lane, while Championship play-off final winners Luton will travel Brighton on the next step of their fairytale journey.
Aside from those clashes, Bournemouth begin their second year back in the top flight by facing newly-crowned Europa Conference League winners West Ham at home. After escaping relegation by the skin of their teeth on the final day, Everton welcome Fulham to Goodison Park, with the famous ground hosting its final season of Premier League football before the Toffees move into their new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock.
Newcastle, now back in the Champions League, will play host to a resurgent Aston Villa to begin their new campaign in Saturday’s late kick-off. And in Sunday’s other fixture, Brentford are set to welcome Ange Postecoglou and his new Tottenham side in an all-London opener.
