Manchester United will drop the club crest from their third kit for the 2023/24 campaign and replace it with an image of a devil, according to reports.
From the 1970's onwards, United's famous crest has featured a red devil, the words "Manchester United" and a three-mast ship that represents the club's industrial heritage.
It has been a permanent feature on every kit for decades but it appears the classic design will be altered by kit manufacturers Adidas for a more minimal look.
According to The Athletic, only a devil will be displayed on the chest of next season's third kit, which is an off-white colour and will be used when the away shirt, which is dark green with white stripes, is not possible.
It must be noted that United's home and away shirt for next season will feature the classic badge, but the third kit will have the devil as its sole image.
TeamViewer, meanwhile, will remain as a sponsor on the front of United's shirt next season, despite the German company deciding against renewing the deal past 2026.
